About this set
Crochet synthetic dreadlock extensions look just like real dreads. Made from high quality synthetic hair (kanekalon), they are light weight and are the softest, most flexible type of synthetic dreadlock extension available. They can be either temporarily braided into undreaded hair or used to extend existing dreadlocks.

Features of DE dreadlocks
Double ended (DE) dreadlocks — one dread is made by two joined single ended (SE) dreads. When weaving one double ended dread, it will create two dangling ends. This type of dreadlocks are recommended to be attached to larger hair sockets. Due to the fact that one double ended dreadlock is actually two single ended dreads joined together, therefore these types of dreads need fewer quantity than single ended dreads. This type of dreadlocks can be attached quickly and without major complications. We believe that this is the best option for quickly attaching dreadlocks for festivals and other events.
Right choosing needed quantity of dreads
You can achieve a comfortable volume of hair by changing the number of extensions: the more there are, the more voluminous your hairstyle looks. The ideal option is 50-55 pcs extensions with a double tip for medium-thick hair. If you would like extra volume, you may wish to consider as many as 60 or 70 pcs dreadlocks.

Installation on undreaded hair
Single ended (SE) dreadlocks have a loop at the top so that a section of your own hair can be placed through the hoop and then braided in place.

Extending existing dreadlocks
The extension can be attached to the bottom of your existing dreadlock by crocheting the top of the extension to the bottom of your own dreadlock.
Tools for installation
The best way to secure the dreadlock extensions is with nylon dreadlock extension thread. Unlike rubber bands, thread is available in a wider colour range for a better match, it's discreet and very strong and long lasting.
Latch hook is the must have tool when installing single ended dreadlocks. It easily allows you to pull the section of your own hair through the loop in preparation for braiding in.
Few words about care
Due to the excellent quality and crochet technique used to create these dreads, very little maintenance will be required. Occasionally you may wish to use a crochet hook to pull loose hair back into the dreadlock.
